Live Dealer Blackjack

Live dealer blackjack is played on the internet with real dealers. If you’re a blackjack fan but don’t have the time to head to the nearest casino, you can visit any of the casinos on this page to play online with real dealers. Live webcams, real tables and real people deal the games in front of you in real time to bring the casino to you.

The experience is pretty darn close to playing at a real casino in person. You get a live feed, real dealers and real cards. You still use your mouse and keyboard to make your bets, but everything else feels very similar to sitting at a real blackjack table.

You can also chat with the dealers as they deal the cards. In the video at the bottom of this page, you can see the dealer interacting with players at the table, smiling, talking to them and so on. It’s a pretty nice little setup.

Where to Play

The following online casinos are my favorites for all live dealer games. Each casino listed below is a trusted gambling site backed by a reputable company. I have played at, worked with and recommended these sites for years.

  1. 5Dimes.eu (USA accepted)
  2. Bet365 Casino (Non-US players only)

There are a few other online casinos that offer live dealer blackjack, but the ones listed on this page are my favorites. I am familiar with these gambling sites and I trust them completely. The above casinos have simple deposit methods, fast withdrawals and fair games. In my opinion, there’s no question that these are the best places to play the game today.

Pros and Cons

Live dealer blackjack comes with a couple of pros and cons. The biggest pro is the fact that it connects you with real people. You can actually watch a real person deal the cards and pay out your winnings thanks to live streaming video. It’s the most realistic blackjack experience you can get without actually stepping foot at a traditional casino.

A negative is that it’s quite a bit slower than regular online blackjack. Live dealer blackjack is played at a table with other players who also have to make decisions. It basically takes just as much time to play online as it does at a real casino. Regular online blackjack is played at your own table against an automated dealer and therefore moves at a much quicker pace.

Another advantage is that it feels like a more social game. Yes, the games moves a little slower, but you get to play with other people at the table just like you do at a brick and mortar casino. You can chat with the other players, cheer each other on and even talk to the dealer. It’s a bit more “fulfilling” than playing by yourself.

Sample Video

This is a video that I captured of the JustBet.cx live dealer blackjack game. It’s 3 minutes long and shows the dealer shuffling the cards, managing bets and dealing a hand of blackjack. You can see that the dealer is relaxed and smiling, but still competent.

Note: I no longer recommend JustBet.cx but I still had this old video handy. I’ll try to remember to get a recording from one of my other recommended gambling sites. There’s just so much to do here with BestOnlineGambling.com! But in any case, this should give you a pretty good idea of what it looks like..

I had a hard time keeping my video quality high on YouTube, but you should get the idea. When I played at the casino on my computer, the video quality was quite a bit better. Just thought I’d let you know in case you’re wondering why the video looks grainy.

When you’re ready to try your luck, feel free to visit 5Dimes or Bet365 Casino. Those are my two favorites. 5Dimes is the go-to choice for US players while Bet365 is the go-to choice for those of you outside the US.
