Las Vegas Sportsbooks

Since sportsbooks were first integrated into Las Vegas casinos in 1975 they’ve continued to grow in both size and numbers. Now there are huge sportsbooks in each of the major casinos, with casual and professional bettors plunking down millions every year.

In Las Vegas, NFL football is the biggest sports betting draw. In most of the major sportsbooks, people can watch all of the major NFL games every week on huge, big-screen tv’s. NBA basketball, NCAA football & basketball, MMA (UFC), boxing, MLB baseball, and golf are also widely bet on. Of course no sportsbook would be complete without a great racebook for betting on the horses. Every Las Vegas sportsbook that we’re aware of offers horse racing.

In Las Vegas, almost any kind of bet can be placed. While all of the standard type bets can be made, a wide selection of futures bets can be made as well. For more information about the types of futures bets available at each casino, use our guide below to contact Las Vegas casinos.

More Great Las Vegas Sportsbooks

The Mirage, Wynn, Bellagio, MGM, Hard Rock, and other casinos have some nice sportsbooks as well. For the very best, try the top 3 on our list, but any of these are great for vacationers looking to have some fun. All sportsbooks are busiest during NFL football season, and basketball season is busy as well. The racebooks do well during the summer months when a lot of tracks are open.

A number of the casinos have placed their sportsbook near their poker rooms, since many of them like to gamble on both. The MGM, Mirage, and a few others are great for those that want to play poker while the games are on.
