Watch Horse Racing Online

When I first got started with horse betting, I was surprised to find that there are several legitimate websites that allow you to watch horse racing online. These websites are not underground streaming sites either; they are actual horse racing websites that stream races straight from the tracks.

All you need is an account at any of the following websites and you can watch live horse racing online from the comfort of home. You don’t need to pay them any money, place any wagers or anything else. All you have to do is log in to your account and you can watch racing live on your computer.

Here are the top websites for live horse racing action:

You can read more about the legality of horse betting here.

Note: these are betting sites, but you don’t have to bet to watch the races live. All you need is an account and you can watch the races in real time. If you do decide to bet, that’s fine too. Both of these betting sites are sanctioned by the US government and are 100% legal.

How to Watch Races Online

It’s actually pretty easy to watch live races online. When I first signed up for a horse betting account, I had no idea live video was one of the perks of having an account. I’m going to use as an example, but you shouldn’t have any trouble watching live races at any other horse racing site.

The first thing you’ll need to do is visit the website and sign up for an account. They’ll ask for your name and information and then tell you to pick a username and password. My recommendation is to use your real information in case you decide to bet later, but it’s not necessary.

After you have an account at BetAmerica, you can log in using your username and password on the front page of the website. On the left side of the page, you’ll see a green button that says “video.” Click on that button and a new window will open.

Next, select the track from the dropdown list and the video for that track will load. I have to warn you now that watching live horse racing streams is not the same as watching a high quality production on ESPN. You’re going to get raw feed and a very little commentary.

I noticed that had a slightly better video service than BetAmerica but even there, don’t expect to see anything like what you see on TV for the Kentucky Derby. When you watch live horse racing online, it’s rough and raw.

It’s not all bad news though. You get to watch horse racing live without paying a single thing. And if you ever decide to bet, you’ll get to watch your horses perform in real time in front of your eyes. It’s one thing to place your bets and watch the news, but it’s completely different to place your bets and then watch your horse race for the finish line.
